Cybertron Chronicles Shorts episode 4, Christmas special

you better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout i'm tellin' you why.  santa clause is coming to town. the music played from the town stereo.  It was christmas time again and the city of Detroit was having a festival.  Casey Sari and mike were showing the winter wonderland to Bumblebee, Skywarp, Prowl and Cometracer.  The others decided to stay at the plant either because they wanted to decorate, watch out for trouble, or just plain being a scrooge. *cough* Ratchet *cough.* griffin and wolvesbane wondered around as well.  that is until, wolvesbane got the irresitible urge to lick a metal pole.  "alright, hold still.  this is gonna burn." said casey, defrosting the pole with her powers.  wolvesbane screamed a little and pulled her toungue free.  "ow! thanks, it looked a lot more fun when those boys did it." "you mean them?" asked casey, pointing to 2 boys luaghing at a third who was stuck to another pole.  Casey sighed and went over to help, mike following.  "hohoho! merry christmas!" Sari turned to see were the deep voice came from.  "hey skywarp, you should see santa. afterall, it is your first Christmas." she suggested.  Skywarp had hidden behind cometracer the second the voice sounded and slowly peeked out at the suggestion.  "n-no way, he's scary." "you think butterflies are scary.  Come on, it'll be fun.  all those humans down there are visiting him." said comet.  "hoho! who's next?" "he is!" said Sari, leading the seeker by his finger while Comet pushed him.  "No i'm not!" "hohoho! don't be shy little... er big guy!" said santa, looking up at the shaking mech.  skywarp kneeled down and stared at the jolly human with his blue optics.  "and what's your name?" "sk-skywarp." "and what would you like for Christmas?" "eh... uh." "just say teddy bear." whispered Sari, giggling.  "er- teddy bear?" "hoho! why, i may have one right here... there ya go, merry Christmas." said santa, handing the jet a white bear with a red bow.  the trio thanked  him and moved on.  "see? that wasn't so bad was it?"  asked comet.  The seeker nodded, smiling and poked the small toy.  "i don't think it's gonna work, fred! the thing is too tall this year!"  shouted a worker, using a crane put a star on top of the giant tree.  "perhaps i could be of assistance." said prowl, effortlessly lifting the ornament and placing it on top of the tree.  The star lit up and the autobot recieved appluase and cheers from the onlookers below.  "thanks big guy!" "not a problem." replied the ninjabot.  Casey looked around suspiciously.  "hey, where's bumblebee?"  she asked.  "i was wondering why it was so quiet." commented prowl, earning him a large snowball to the back of the head.  "ha! nailed ya, ninjabot!" said Bumblebee.  the yellow bot was then pelted with the forzen ammo from other kids.  "snowball fight!"  The group started joining in, unaware  they were being watched.  The ever vigilant optics of ravage spied from a dark alley.  That is until a stary ball of ice nailed him in the face.  the robotic panther growled and shook it off.  "griffin, you're not supposed to pack it THAT tight.  I hope it didn't hurt anyone." said mike.  The cat's red optics glowed brightly and anger.  "patience ravage.  null void decepticons will soon arrive and destroy the foolish autobots." said soundwave over the comm link.  Skywarp had taken cover behind the large tree, not wanting to get hit.  He heard crying and looked down to see a small human girl and a torn stuffed animal, soaked in snow.  He felt sorry for her, so he kneeled down, tapped her shoulder and gave her his bear.  "um happy day of Christmas." he said.  The girl giggled and hugged his leg.  Ravage made a sound of disgust as he watched the sickeningly sweet scene.  (those decepticons better get here fast!) he thought.

"are ve zere yet?" "NO!" "are ve zere chet?" "NO!" Now?" "Blitzwing! Frightflight!  find some other way to entertain yourselves!" yelled Scarletwing, annoyed.  "ve know a zong zat gets on everybot's nerves, everybot's nerves, everybot's nerves- " "uuuugh! gets is gonna be a loooong orbital cycle!"  said starscream.

Back at the plant, everyone was opening their secret santa gifts.  Bulkhead got new paints, since he was running out.  Optimus got a framed picture of everyone, himself being in the middle.  ratchet recieved a dart board. (give ya one guess who's picture is going up first.)  As a joke, Bumblebee's was wrapped up in paper that looked like coal.  "very funny, guys." "open it, kid." said ratchet.  He did so and practically jumped for joy when he saw his rocket boosters, only improved to go faster.  Cometracer could only guess who made her the carefully welded metal, heart-shaped locket.  Prowl and Mike shared a secretive smile. Prowl was given a little dreamcatcher and mike, a fireproof wolf claw meddalion.  "open yours, sky!" said casey, fastening her new, crudely weilded peace sign charm to her necklace.  Skywarp slowly opened the colorful box and found a little white teddy bear with purple and black wings sewn on.  Skywarp glanced down at his human friends, suprized.  "hehe, your secret santa must've gotten the idea when they saw that sweet thing you did earlier." said Sari, winking secretly to Casey.  Sari then read to herself a simple, yet cute poem.  Bumblebee looked away sheepishly as she looked his way with a smile.  "where are wolvesbane and griffin?" asked optimus.  "they said they had a suprize for us." said Bulkhead.  they heard bells jingleing and ran outside to see a reindeer drawn sleigh with a human in a red suit fly by.  "hohoho! merry Christmas to all and to yall a good night!" he said.  wolvesbane and griffin giggled on top of the roof and highfived.  wolvesbane wore a headband with makeshift antlers and griffin wore a bell around his neck.  Prowl chuckled to himself.   "so that's why those 2 wanted to borrow my holo-projector". he thought.  "told ya he was real!" said Bee, nudging Ratchet, who just rolled his optics.

As skywarp entered his room, ready for recharge, he heard a small giggling.  "huh? hello?" he asked, looking around.  he didn't hear it again and found nothing, so he shrugged it off and climbed on the metal berth.  as he layed down, he noticed a small note on the metal pillow and picked it up.  " hope you enjoyed this human holiday and that you like my gift.  I wish i could've been there, but it's too dangerous to meet you all just yet.  this charm is not my best but in the time i had, i had to make it swift.  For now i can't be there in person, so this is as close as we can get.  Signed, a friend.  P.s., watch out for soundwave, he's up to something big." he read.  The seeker opened the small envolope attached ans found a clover necklace small enough for his new teddy bear.  He placed it around the toy's neck and smiled before staring back at the note.  After a minute, he shrugged and fell into recharge, deciding to tell the other's tomarrow.  The mech hadn't noticed the blue optics of the shadowed figure in the frosty window or the small, impish giggling.
